Artist's Bio

I was born in the San Francisco Bay Area. I have spent most of my life here, with the exception of the few years that I lived in the mid-west. While growing up, I had the chance to travel around the country and experience first hand the awesome beauty that surrounds us. When I was twelve (a long time ago), I asked for a camera so I could take photography in high school. That was all it took! I was instantly hooked. It wasn't long before I had my very own darkroom set up at home. After high school, I continued to take photographs of the places I traveled to. In my late twenties, I decided to take my photography much more seriously. I went back to college and focused on college level photography courses. It was there that I discovered the invisible world of infra-red photography. I have since then showed my work in several public shows, and am currently seeking gallery representation. Although, I spend most of my time working with infra-red film, I find much pleasure in working with other film types as well.
I hope you enjoy my website. As an artist, I feel it is important to have my work viewed by as many as possible. Please e-mail me with your thought's and comments.
