Camera's Used
For all of my infra-red work, I use nothing but Nikon equipment. I currently own a Nikon 8008s, and an N90s. Most of my work is done using one of two lenses. I use either a 24-50 wide angle zoom or a 28-85 macro zoom. I do own other lenses, but I honestly can't remember the last time I used one of them. I like the Nikon equipment due to it's reliability and workmanship. Nikon is also infra-red friendly, meaning the camera's are safe to use with infra-red film. Some camera's can not be used with infra-red film.

I also own a Hasselblad 500CM medium format system. I use this camera mainly for portraiture work. I love the quality images it can produce due to it's tack sharp Carl Zeiss lenses. I have not experimented with infra-red with it yet, although I do intend to try it someday. Unfortunately, Kodak does not make their infra-red film in 120 or 220 size for the public. Rumor has it that they do make it for government use, but I can't confirm that. For the time being I will have to try the Konica version. I also shoot a lot of Fuji transparency film with my Hassy.
My most recent acquisition is a Widelux F7. I am looking forward to working with this camera. I hope to have some images ready to post within the next 4-6 months. I am currently finishing a portfolio and the widelux will have to wait. I also need to do some minor repair work on it.
